The new year brings many changes

Wow... I seriously can't believe it's almost Christmas. So many exciting things are happening this coming year!! Me and my bestie are going on a ten day Mexican cruise during spring break. I get to see one of my best friends leave on a mission, and two return from there missions. It's been a crazy year one with many wonderful memories. The things that pop out most to me are the many times of laughter, tears, and joy! Its been a struggle these past couple of weeks, but some of these past couple of weeks have made so strong. I've learned that i need to be "little miss Idependent" I've learned that I need to lean on and hold strong to my Heavenly Father, instead of the worldy things. One of my New Year's resolutions is to go to baptisms for the dead at the temple every week. I know that by doing this I will have a stronger relationship with my Heavenly Father, and I will be able to withstand temptations from our crazy world. I'm grateful for a loving family, who has supported me in so many things. I'm grateful for all the missionarys in my life! I'm so proud of Preston, who will soon be leaving in March. He is a strong example, and i know he will be successful! I'm grateful for my wonderful friend Brittney who is always there for me who raises me up, and who can always make me laugh. I'm grateful for my friend Chandler who is always there to give me advice and help me. I'm grateful for kind words, for wonderful memories, and for anyone who has ever made me smile. I'm so glad a new year is begining. I need some change in my life, I am excited to be starting college this year, starting on my enormous list of New Year Resolutions. I'm excited to change into the Women I know I am. I'm grateful for all my countless blessings, and most of all for my loving Heavenly Father. :)

Best Friends

My best friend for life took me on a surprise date on Friday!! Wow so he picked me up and we decided to go get sushi!! Okay a little background about me... hahah i hate fish so i was a little scared but i tried it just for him!! haha it was actually pretty good, but its not my favorite!! I'm so glad i have a best friend like Preston i've done so many new amazing things with him!! haha but that was only the beginning of our litte adventure!! We went to wal mart and got some yummy snacks, then to my surpise he finally told me we were going to a drive-in movie!! Oh my goodness thats always been something i have wanted to do, especially with him. :) So we drove to Salt Lake but got a little lost on the way and had to go to this gheto gas station to ask for directions, hahah we finally found the drive in movie!! It was just a fun date, and i honestly will never forget it!! Preston is the best partner in crime, little badger, adventure partner and best friend anyone could ever ask for!! :) :) I'm so so proud of him!!

Miss American Fork Pageant

So the pageant is over!!! And wow what an amazing experience!! I did not win Miss AF, but a great girl did!! I have accomplished many things by doing this pageant #1 sang a song in front of a crowd #2 was fierce on the runway in a bathing suit with heals on and a dress!! #3 met amazing girls who all deserved a crown! #4 got interviewed for ten minutes in front of a panal of judges and rocked #5 got to talk about my platform "Don't drive stupid" something that means a lot to me and my brother Carson!! #6 had a blast!! I loved how all my friends and family came to support me!! So the pageant is over and now i get to have a fun rest of the summer!! I'm so blessed to have had this amazing opportunity. And i'm so blessed to have wonderful friends and family who have supported me through it all!! I love you guys!!! :)

Princess For a Day

very dear to my heart because my brother was killed in a This year i decided i wanted to do something really really fun, stressful, and nerve racking!! I'm running for Miss American Fork. I'm very nervous but also very excited. I have had the opportunity to do so much, and it really has opened to door for me to be able to get my self out there. My platform issue is raising awareness for the "Don't Drive Stupid Campaign" and "Zero Fatalities". This issue iscar accident, and he was not wearing a seatbelt and i know for a fact if he would have been wearing a seatbelt he would be alive today. Anyways.. I just love pageants. They are way fun, and for one day I get to feel like a Princess. I would love to win Miss American Fork but whatever the outcome I am going to be super happy, because doing this pageant gives me the reward. I have learned and accomplished so many things just by participating. I hope all my amazing friends can come!! Wish me luck!! :)
